This plan incorporates the traditionally healthy eating habit of the MEDITERRANEAN with the basics of healthy eating for optimal health. Rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, beans and generous amounts of healthy fats - particularly heart healthy monounsaturated fats - our focus is to provide sensible and reasonable approach to healthy eating and good health. Recent research reveals that the Mediterranean way of eating may lower levels of platelets and white blood cells - two causes of inflammation in the body!
